In a rapidly changing world, standing still effectively means going backwards. That is precisely why Franke is not resting on its laurels, but is instead proactive and dynamic, working steadfastly to shape change itself. With the “Franke 2025” strategy, which provides orientation for all company departments in a holistic approach and defines fields of action, Franke is creating a solid foundation for its future.
The “Franke 2020” strategy first introduced in 2017 is still in implementation, but Managing Directors Daniel Groz and Sascha Eberhard are already thinking further ahead. This is in no small part thanks to a multi-day innovation symposium they attended in Berlin in 2018, at which the pair visited many start-ups. “We looked at everything,” recalls Daniel Groz, “and then returned with a lot of ideas.” These ideas gave rise to the comprehensive “Franke 2025” strategy, which had a somewhat slow start due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It provides a new foundation and direction for numerous upcoming measures in the areas of investment, organisation and corporate culture – in a move towards becoming an agile technology company.
The values of the corporate culture and the guidelines derived from them are regularly communicated through an expressive visualisation in the form of the “We are Franke” motto.
In many individual steps, with the help of specialised agencies and, as with “Franke 2020”, with heavy involvement of employees, a holistic mission statement was created: Under the multidimensional motto “Future by Motion”, it defines a mission, a vision as well as brand values and principles for Franke. What’s more, as a decisive factor for successful implementation, the brand values are backed up with specific content and goals for the future. This applies to the core brand value of innovation, around which everything at Franke revolves, as well as to the values of agility, competence, team spirit and reliability. Specific goals for 2025 have been derived from this: Franke will be innovative, digital, efficient and sustainable, with people who work together as a team.
“Franke 2025 – Future by Motion” was presented at the 2021 works meeting, which could take place in person again for the first time – albeit under COVID-19 social distancing rules and split into several groups. The strategy was then described in detail in various internal company publications, illustrated with practical examples. The cautious but consistent implementation of the future strategy in all areas of the company is an ongoing, continuous process that ensures that “Franke 2025 – Future by Motion” is not just a slogan, but a reality. //
